Community meetings. The project team will conduct a series of community meetings in various locations throughout the Commonwealth, which will tentatively be held in September 2020. During the community meetings, BBC will present information about the disparity study, answer any questions, and solicit participants for any verbal or written testimony that they would like to share about their experiences working in the marketplace. Further details including specific dates, times, and locations of the meetings will be available soon. Please participate and make sure your insights are included as part of the process!
BBC invites you to participate in a disparity study webinar where you will be able to learn more about the study and tell us about your experiences doing business in Virginia.
The insights that you provide will be integrated into BBC’s analyses.
BBC is seeking information related to:
- Perceptions about and experiences with doing business in Virginia and working with Commonwealth agencies;
- Any barriers or difficulties that businesses experience competing on Commonwealth contracts; and
- Any discrimination or other barriers that businesses have experienced in the local marketplace.
